Oreo Poke Cake

I didn’t use any specific recipe for this. I’ve seen it on Pinterest a few times and decided to make it. Poke cakes are pretty simple. My sister says it sounds like “Pork cake” which sounds disgusting to her. I suppose “Pork cake” does sound a little gross. Anyway on to the poke cake (not pork cake).

You’re going to need:

One chocolate cake mix, I used milk chocolate. (oil, water, and eggs called for)

One box Oreo pudding mix, 2 cups of milk to make it

1/2 package of Oreos, I used double stuft, crunched up

1 small container cool whip

Make cake according to package. When it’s done poke holes all over the cake with the handle end of a wooden spoon. See why it’s called a poke cake? Mix up the pudding mix and pour over cake, make sure to smooth it out so it gets in all the holes. Let the cake cool and top with cool whip and crunched up oreos. Refrigerate about an hour so the pudding can set.

We all liked it here. I hope you do as well!

Thanks for reading and happy cooking!
